Nepal is home to the tallest mountain in the world, Mount Everest. The peak of the mountain is 8,848 meters (29,029 ft) above sea level. Are you daring enough to climb that? Extreme hikers flock to the mountain to join the prestigious groups of hikers that are able to successfully finish the climb. The mountain recently opened for the hiking season (in 2017). The Department of Tourism said “over 250 mountaineers from 28 countries obtained climbing permits for Mt. Everest.” Will you be next?
Tourists from all over the globe flock to Arizona mainly to see one amazing spectacle, the Grand Canyon. However, a minority don’t go just to see it, but to white-water raft in the canyon’s Colorado River. If you are brave enough, one can receive the ultimate adrenaline rush, in Pamplona, Spain. The city hosts the annual San Fermin Festival, every year from 6th to the 14th of July. Although there are multiple celebrations and activities throughout those few days, the most prominent one is the running of the bulls. The angry, half-toned animals are released in the streets of the city, and led to the bull ring. However, millions try to outrun the bulls – certainly a life-endangering but thrilling experience.
Interlaken is located in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region of central Switzerland. The area offers amazing winter-outdoor sports, such as skiing, snowboarding, and sledding.
