If you love museums, and especially art, the Musée d’Orsay should be on the top of your list, after The Louvre. Once an old railway station, the structure of the museum is even a work of art. The once abandoned building was featured in numerous films, until it was finally converted to a museum in 1986. Today, numerous famous artists’ paintings and sculptures are featured throughout the building, including Paul Cézanne, Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Gauguin and Edgar Degas. The Musée d’Orsay is open daily, except Mondays. A general admission ticket cost €12.
